The current climatic events on planet Earth could be evidence of a apocalyptic scenario, irreversible and disappointing, since micro-actions and individual changes in behaviour are becoming less effective in contrast to ultradamages caused by decisions that flee from control of most people.
The way media deals with this situation is also something scary because the majority of information, especially about the most remote - and affected - places moves into broadcasting and are, therefore, rearranged by all the influences that act on these great resources of communication - influences that create the "sensational", the "phenomenon" and the "alarm".
The need for different sources of information about the local scenery transforms actions within the microcontexts in their own climate/environment.
The Houses of Happiness represent precisely the transformation of human actions in a climate/environment humanely produced within a non-space, to the extent that it recreates remote scenarios anywhere through an artistic version/representation of everyday practices of each locality. Accordingly, in addition to recreate these realities, reproductions of the environment affect the social environments encouraging new emotional relationships between participants through sensorial questionings, informal discussions, virtual interactions, and especially through raising the levels of joy and consequent weather/environment transformation of a microspace. In the process we use atabaques, moquecas, jorge ben vynil records, and the physical creation of the House of Happiness, translating the power of Brazilian's improvised architecture.
